so i almost got robbed the other day...
or should i say /subway/ almost got robbed.

last night, at 8:30pm.

i found myself face to face with a man bearing a knife.

he didnt seem very threatening.

he was quiet, didnt have the knife pointed at me.

it was kind of at his side like a warning.

"give me the money."

"open the cash."

"open the cash now"

as i went to open the cash, it still took me a few moments to really take in what was happening.

i really don't like being that helpless.

have to hand over whatever i've got

just because some idiot decided he needed some cash.

him and his 8 inch steel kitchen knife for back-up.

i opened the cash.

then closed it.

turned around saying,

"no.

i'm calling the cops."

heh. i thought i could make a small post about this.

just mention a few details and then end it.

but i guess i've gotten a little dramatic, after repeating the story to the police at least 3 times.

and explaining to certain customers this evenin.

well anyway.

he was in shock.

he walks towards the door to leave.

then turns back and leans on the counter again.

he makes for the door that leads to the back part of subway,
at which time i retreat a little more.
still watching him.
the phone ringing in my ear.

but he decides against it.

and finally leaves the store.

he pissed me off.

the fact that he was so... lazy!
or i suppose just inexperienced.

and expecting any employee to simply hand over the the cash like we're supposed to.

for our own safety.

all he had was a sweater, a scarf covering his face, a pair of cloth gloves,

and his fucking knife.

no backup.

he wasnt scary.

he wasnt threatening me.

he was simply saying.

"i have a knife, give me your money."

like a warning.

with no followthrough.

i could feel it.

there was no way in hell.

that this man was going to stab me.

still hope they fucking catch him though.

I must say..

I have noticed.

and I do care.

• I had a moment with jessica! we were both totally drunk/high and dancin' and we were meshing really well for a while. then i fucked it up cuz i got too happy and hugged her. hah

• mmm the desert i had! delicious.
• first time i really enjoyed being on stage (SO MANY PEOPLE!)
• finding out who Jasha has a crush on! hehehe I couldn't help but laugh and I almost said "ohh honeyyyy."
• the ride home from the bar... I don't remember a thing about it..
  
• the walk from brittni's house to tim hortans. I may have stumbled a bit, but I had my keys ready to strike. never trust trenton, it's sketchy.
• lastly, talking in my sleep.... what the hell was going on in my bar dream?!

they are not coming out with a 4th season of united states of tara...

i really thought they were on to something!

everything was starting to make sense.

and i thought maybe she would be able to gain control

and they'd be able to end the season the right way
i guess her getting better would be the cliche way to end it

but maybe with her going back on some sort of meds

or somehow only having alice or something.

i dunno.

i was really excited to see how it was going to continue.

i guess all i can say

is it was good while it lasted.

we will be long gone before the earth is.
and there is nothing we can do about it.

suuure!

get solar panels.
use environmental safe products.

if global warming doesn't destroy the human race.
